Due to a rather embarrassing f@ckup with my extensive Northern Monkey geographical knowledge, is there anyone local to PO6 that could collect some car parts and post them on to me in South Yorks?

 

Obviously monies will be provided to cover your costs, plus beer....

Yep, I'm down this way. Woddayaneed and where from? Can collect tomorrow (Sunday) during the day, or pretty much any evening in the week.

 

In fact, PO6 is even closer to me, I can almost see it from here.

Thanks for the offer of collection and posting.

 

I’m over in France until next weekend and might have overlooked where the ferry is dropping us off when dropping a bid on an eBay item.

 

I do however now know Portsmouth and Plymouth are 171 miles apart and despite my best efforts the good lady wife might have already threatened to poke my eyeballs out if I suggest a detour.

 

Problem is the item is a front telescopic shock conversion kit for a Midget, so not exactly lightweight or small.

 

If you can sort then brilliant, but if not I will understand and I’ll have a drive down to collect the following weekend (no worry or pressure as it’s worry as it’s only a 570 mile round trip ????????)

No problem at all, it'll easily fit in one of my shitters - I can swing by on the way home from work one evening as I'll be the only one in the car. If you're happy sorting out a label for Hermes or something I can drop it at a parcelshop or arrange a courier to pick it up from my work which is staffed 8-6, 5 days a week.
