Random Bedford truck

Spotted this in Shepton Mallet a few weeks ago, clearly ex BBC by the livery but looks a tad like some kind of post holocaust vehicle.

Aye, it's been there for years. Often pass through Shepton Mallet and ALWAYS keep an eye out for it.One of the old event reporting wagons I guess.

Auto trader have it as a Bedford Special bodied vehicle, no model given,DVLA say it's been off the road 15 years! No ccs available. Looks like a TL to me, but the doors look Fodenesque.......

Have you seen the old Rover SD1 Vitesse on the A37 Whitstone Road? Looks like its been there a while as its pretty crusty.

I'd hazard a guess that it's an ex-horseracing truck, used for filming.
