Any advice on how to lessen the crease before applying filler? Had thought about using a slide hammer to pull as much of it out as poss - however as it is creased I am not sure it would work.

Thoughts?

Remove mudflap, remove arch liner, warm panel (not too much), gently tap with small hammer from back holding dolly of some sort (not Barbie, Cindy, etc.) on the outside.

Honestly? I'd ignore it. Painting and matching that will be a right fucker. If it was rusty I'd say give it a coat of stonechip to stop it getting worse and making big fuck off holes, but for a minor dent like that I'd live with it.

Put one on the other side and claim it as a design feature?

On a serious note, how long has it been there? As it's on a factory crease it's going to have stretched weirdly and will take some skill to shrink back. Also, greens are a bugger to match so you want to try and do it paint-free if possible with hammers, dollies and patience.

Presumably they took a sample of the colour from a very mossy rock.

Or it's just the photo. One of those.

Id leave that well alone or get a pantsless dent removal guy to sort it out.

You can probably reduce it a reasonable amount from the inside but it will never be perfect and filler and spray on something like that is going to be an absolute nightmare to colour match and will probably look 142% worse than it does just now.

As above, save yourself the aggro and get a dent removal guy to push that out,it will come out easily and invisibly and won't cost a Kings ransom either.

In readiness for getting my roffle winning

406 coupe back on the road this summer I had a chap come round and take out a multitude of minor dinks and imperfections recently, and I can highly recommend this process. post-20412-0-76428800-1525549091_thumb.jpg

Two small bits of timber and one of those great big water pump pliers like you'd use to remove oil filters would squeeze the flat part of that arch back, a small section of the trim on the door would deal with the rest.
