Bubble Rover 214 - appeal for help!

My good mate Anna's N plate 214 has 'done a k series'..

 

 

Apparently a cooling leak from the rad let level get low culminating in a engine overheat plus a loss of compression.

 

The car was her grandmother's and is in remarkably good condition - it's a lovely wee thing.

 

Can anyone recommend anywhere in Glasgow/surroundings ago could do a headgasket and radiators for a reasonable sum? I would but I don't have the facilities!

Just looking about the Rover pages on Facebook others suggestions are Dreadnought at Callander who are absolute top notch but might be a bit pricier.

Another option is MG-Rover mobile mechanics. Based in Derby but will come to you and do job for what looks like £320 plus cost of fuel!

My mate does his own and seems to think it's not to bad a job. He is in Saudi till mid May though. Probably would have tools required though.

Hes in Whitburn I think. Thats who Ive got the 75 booked in with for some fettling later on in the spring.
