Lord Sterling Posted November 13, 2018 Posted November 13, 2018 Knowledge? You will regret asking that Mo! Yes I have seen your Micra. I parked between it and a horrid pink Corsa a couple of weeks ago!So this Micra was bought brand new by a friend of mine's Grandmother..... ...a bad mot fail has seen it back in my ownership. Despite it being regularly waxoyled in its life, the rot on it is now near terminal in the inner rear wheel arches.I'm going to have a good look at it and hopefully get it through another mot. I think I'll just keep it as a spare carNo regrets at all! Yes, that horrible Pink Corsa was there a while, it gained the mess of a constipated pigeon and a tall glass of some red alcoholic drink on the roof. It's since gone. Ma's Micra does get moved about but always back in the same spot, the back of it has a bonnet and 2 bumpers ready to be fitted on when it actually does go in for work. If I'm passing I'll give you call as I'd love to take a closer look at the Micra, I've still got small bits and bobs all over the place for K11 Micras. D Spares & Tyres 1

Scruffy Bodger Posted November 14, 2018 Posted November 14, 2018 I'm willing to put some time into the little Micra to save it. I've fond memories of driving that little car, especially in the snow. I quite literally managed to get places in it that people were only attempting in 4x4's oldcars, Angrydicky and D Spares & Tyres 3

D Spares & Tyres Posted November 14, 2018 Author Posted November 14, 2018 Well, for anybody that is interested here are some Micra pictures. The next few pictures are of interest to Mo only... It looks like Mo has already paid it a visit. Or it could be paint I supposeSo I took the bumper off and had a tugNot much there. Or thereThose two pictures are up inside the inner wing by the fuel filler neck.Indeed. Found this nice old school bodge Verdict? It's fucked. I can't weld it from behind. It needs the filler neck removing and maybe also the fuel tank. Also I can't see how to weld it up without removing the complete rear wing. Sadly I think it's future will be oval shaped initially then cuboid Sad, especially as the mechanical parts should last indefinitely! Lord Sterling 1
