hey up all

 

a nice MGB, i ran in ther road and was nearly knocked down :oops:

 

i couldn't get a front shot as i was waiting for the camera to come up on my crappy phone but just caught a shakey shot of the rear!

 

it has an entrants' plate in from some recent show at renishaw hall which is only 10 mins from me yet i've never managed to attend any of them :cry:

an MGB GT at the garage where my brother does bodywork/re-paints, the colour is absolutely cacky but the car was in superb condition 8)

Is that Beetle a 'Jeans' model?Colour and black bumper would suggest so, but they had black trim under the windows too I thought. And obviously denim seats!One of the few special editions that made it to this country, and worth a premium. If it is, they want to get some repro Jeans stickers.

i think it was just an ordinary one that the fella wanted painting into a tangerine dream :oops: the bloke was asking two and a half grand for it and has been offered £2000 at the mo :shock: john :P

Harvest Gold I think that MG. A deliciously shite colour.The Beetle isn't a Jeans as it's a 'big windscreen' (and therefore shite) 1303. The Jeans was based on the basic 1200 I think. Could well be wrong in that, but they were definitely flat windscreen ones.

You are indeed absolutely correct.As a previous 1303 owner and VW buff I am both ashamed, and glad you said 'shite' and not 'shit' :)
