A Frame borrow nr Merseyside ??

As any sensible person would do I've just won an Omega estate on egay that doesn't run, it's in Warrington and needs shifting circa 15 miles to my gaff in Knowsley.

 

Anyone on here able to assist by way of a tow ( Beer monies provided ) or know someone reasonable priced who could truck it back for me I don't have anything with a tow bar sadly or I'd look at breaking my a frame virginity

Did you get a dimension for the clearance needed to get it on a trailer?

I'm guessing it will be around 1700mm.  Looking on Gooooogle, they appear to have a track of about 1525mm, add a 195mm(?) section tyre, and that is then 1720mm.

 

My trailer is around 1675mm wide, depending on where you measure it, so that is very close indeed.  I have put cars on that were 1700mm overall track, and just squidged the tyres a bit, which seemed to go ok, and certainly meant the car wouldn't slip about at all, but anything more than 1700mm I fear just won't fit.

Anyone got an A frame locally for lending as I can access a tow bar equipped car  ?
