Car take back?? Any experiences, good/bad

Looking on their website tonight they've quoted me just short of £400 for my Mercedes ml diesel.

 

Time I've pissed about with gumtree/eBay etc for the £500 I'm asking I reckon it's better to take their offer for a hassle free sale.

 

The price seemed quite high to me but then they only quoted £54 for a Ka so then that tells me they're quite realistic?

 

My only concern is they say they don't need the car to run (which it doesn't) but that the best price is based on a running vehicle unless of course I've read that wrong?

 

As far as I'm concerned if I get £500 for the three cars that might not be too bad however I always thought a Ka would be nearer the £75 mark but I've been out of the world of scrap a while now.

 

 

Any experiences welcome.

It will be a local scrap yard that is using CTB to find customers.  CTB don't buy cars themselves, they are an aggregator.

Go direct to the breakers, get a better price that way.
