Possible shitely / storage request Derby/Notts

Hi all, 

 

I've won a 50cc scooter on ebay, it's located in Kegworth off J24 of the M1.

 

Is there anyone nearby who could go and pick it up for me and hang onto it for a week or 2? 

 

Would need a van or trailer to pick up.

 

I can do it myself but this week isn't great due to half term, have thought about shiply but the seller wants cash only.

Sorry,no towbar at the time. I know of a van driver. ill try to get hold of him but no promises as he doesnt believe in mobile phones (he is 74!) and is self employed.

Cheers chaps, it was a bit of a long shot that someone might be local and kitted up.

How local? I'm in Redhill Marina during the week. I have no trailer, but I could ride it across the fields.

While I'm asking for stuff, anyone coming up the M1 in a van anytime soon?

Right, the lovely barefoot has been over today for me but it turns out the bike will not fit in his van or on his rack. 

 

I'm going to ask the seller if he can hang onto it until I can get there myself, but if not, barefoot can borrow a trailer but has no means of towing it legally. 

 

Anyone able to assist with a bit of towing if required?
