this picture makes my wife happy.

When I bought the omega off John K, I promised my wife that "within a few weeks" I would have the dent fixed.

53 Weeks later she'd become somehow resigned to the fact that it was never going to happen.

but I always keep my promises.

As it's often been said, if we say we're going to do something, we will. There's no need to nag us about it every six months.

I've NEVER (EVER) scratched a wheel. Plus it always seems wider than it is.

Most people in our road park half on the pavement which I think should be a capital offence.

It depends on the width of the road and pavement IMO, having pushed a double buggy around I'm aware of it but locally we have parking boxes marked up onto the pavement.

Looks like a decent match colour wise.  Always worth waiting for a replacement panel in the right shade imo!

Z20M petrol blue. I have seen one other out on the road, and seen pictures of 2 other doors both with some minor damage (so not worth bothering with as I could have fixed my own dent and not matched the paint.

i must admit my big tool came in handy for sorting out the door adjustment.

Yes. Thanks to MikeR (my wife's sister's husband), and his help. Door adjustment involved putting his big wrench (ohh er madam) behind the hinges so as to stop the door shutting, and leaning on it so that the B post bent a little, moving the door back about 2mm.

This is a trick I was told by a body shop guy after I told him I couldn't afford to pay him to repair the door. Nice chap. One day I'd like to actually give him some work.
