MOT history checker

Has anyone had any issues with the MOT history checker on the gov.uk website since they updated it?

A little concerned as my funbus initially failed MOT, was fixed, taken back and I'm sure on the old MOT system I saw it had passed because I commented a wheel bearing advisory wasn't back for a 20 year old bus. However, now when I check it, it's showing the old fail and nothing else. Mechanic is going to check with garage next week in case anything has messed up their end but I'm suspecting a DVLA cock up.....

Any other sites let you check your MOT status? Altho I'd imagine they'd all feed off the DVLA system.

Cazana does, although I think you'll be right in suggesting they all use the same database.

The MOT database isn't 100% reliable.

They have somehow amalgamated my car's data with someone elses, so my car displays MOT fails it hasn't had - and the site records more MOTs for my car than it really has undergone. It is annoying, since it muddies the MOT history of my car and could even make it look like it has been 'clocked' to some people. I will never sell it so I suppose it will make no practical difference, but it still irks me.

Definitely something strange going on. Cazana said no MOT or tax info available, then shows me the fail and previous MOTs.....I've emailed DVLA. Just hope this can be sorted out easily and I don't get pulled in the mean time....
