Has anyone ever seen one of these before?Half car half van.The only one I've ever seen.Would be interested in buying it (it's for sale)but I'm away from home at present.1.3 diesel.

The 1300 diesel is meant to be completely arse in these things.

I really rate the Doblo as a Car or Van. My Dad got a facelifted 05 Car with the 1.9 JTD and it's a fantastic all rounder.

 

Funny enough me and my Dad picked up a 02 Doblo Van with the non Turbo 1.9 Derv engine yesterday for a friend that I spotted for sale. Bodywork a bit battered i.e dents and marks and interior has got paint on the seats etc, but with only 76,000 genuine miles was a bargain at £400 with 8 months Mot. Was haggled down from only £450. Drives A1 is totally solid bodywork and even just had a recent service. 

 

Looks even better after we cleaned up the outside and repainted the steel wheels too. Was tempted to try and keep it for myself but that wouldn't be fair to my Dad's friend! 

 

Agree the 1.3 multijet in the 05 Van I drove isn't as good as the 1.9 JTD especially if the vehicle was fully loaded, was another Van sourced for another of my Dads mates. It wasn't the best to start with, it had a few issues with one it's injectors but again it was brought so cheap compared to the Ford or Vauxhall option at 8 years old that it was still good value. That Van was sold on a few years ago and last I heard it has had two more owners and on 160k.

I haven't seen a 5 seater Doblo van in the UK but I have seen a 5 seater Berlingo van,  it was about 03 plated and electric.  I posted pics up on here somewhere.
