Shitley to Shipley - Autoshite express request from Walsall

Yo! Mrs Imp has crashed her Megane into the wall a mere 3 months after getting it repaired from doing exactly the same on the exactly the same wall (although last time was much much worse).

 

 

The damage is slightly worse than when this photo was taken though.  I still haven't located the towrope that was missing the other week when I was trying to drag the Visa off the drive and when I was dragging the Megane off the wall, the makeshift towrope snapped and it banged back into it.   Thankfully the knot I tied in it was strong enough for my second attempt. Those years at Cub Scouts finally paid off.

 

Been to see if a bodyshop could repair the door but apparently we should just get a new one. 

 

I've found one in the colour that we want (with different coloured handles but we can mend that) but its in Walsall in the Black Country and its collection only. We're in Shipley near Bradford but can meet in Leeds or surrounding areas.

 

 

I might just drive down for it but thought I would have a punt on here first on the off chance that someone could pick it up for me if they are going past there to somewhere near here in the near future?

 

Failing that can anyone recommend a good day out near Walsall as may as well make the most of a trip down the M1.

Its only 100 odd miles from me, I don't want anyone to go too far out of their way. Thanks though.

 

I suspect it will be a grand day out somewhere, which I'm happy with.

I could pick it up and shuffle it up to Accrington on Saturday. Not a huge help but closer to you at least.

I did that years ago, so moved the wall a foot.

Never done it since.
