bunglebus Posted November 8, 2022 Author Posted November 8, 2022 Another really nice resto at the classic car dealer. Thought it might be as black as your hat underneath but it's as shiny as the top. Surely they can't be the original plastic covers on the seats, even at the very low recorded mileage? MiniMinorMk3, Dick Cheeseburger, Dyslexic Viking and 2 others 5

My first car was one of these. Paid £40 because I couldn't afford 60 for a Pa Cresta. Would 've been 1971/2 and was already a bit un solid. Blew the engine up on the way to Glasgow. Bench seats for fun times with girls. bunglebus, uk_senator and Dyslexic Viking 3
High Jetter Posted November 8, 2022 Posted November 8, 2022 IIRC the plastic of that era was really quite thick, maybe 2-3mm, so if protected from UV it might even be original. Probably not, though. bunglebus 1

bunglebus Posted November 28, 2022 Author Posted November 28, 2022 Do you remember when Patrick McGoohan wakes up in the village and everyone's either on a bicycle or driving a Mini Moke? I feel like that today except the Mokes are milkfloats. There are some electric Piaggio Apes and other oddities but mostly just dozens of milkfloats, and identical bicycles uk_senator, grogee, RayMK and 3 others 6
