I would deffo spunk the 12k on a new yaris.

Setting myself the rule nothing I own or model I have owned in the past.

 

So a quick think, this is what I would spend £12,000 if you bought it round my house today and insisted I spent it on buying cars!

 

Vauxhall Viceroy - £2500

MG ZS 180 - £1500

Triumph 1300 - £2000

Honda Aerodeck - £ 2000

Renault 14 - £2000

Citroen XM - £2000

 

Unlike what I do in real life I have attached budgets to each car that gets me off the bottom run so hopefully I can enjoy my new purchases.

 

I could have easily spent my entire fantasy budget on one car such as a Jowett Javelin that I have always fancied but in the sprit of this forum I have gone for a selection of lower value cars that I have always wanted to own. Top of the list change so ask me again and you may get a different list. In real life I am often caught by a moment and buy a car because it is available now! I am also a sucker for that is too much as a bargain to miss and I can always sell it for a profit if I don’t like it, there turns out to be very few cars I don’t like!

A boxster with roof issues and low mileage for £2500 I saw recently.

Another smart roadster for say £1800

A Z3 for £2000

An Audi TT I saw recently for £1400 in good condition

A £2000 SLK but it might need to be a winter buy for a decent one at the right price.

And a £1800 Bini Cooper which I find are a great little motor to chuck around.

 

Shite how could I forget the rover 75 hopefully if I'm lucky I will find one for £500 but if I pay £1800 for the zed then I will have £700 for a rover.
