Jim Bell Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 Sorry to hear about the redundancy man. Sure this thing will fly away quick.
Cavcraft Posted May 17, 2017 Posted May 17, 2017 /unhelpful/ I'd actually make an offer on this if you were nearer and I had the folding. It looks bigger and thus more useful than my standard roof SWB.
garbaldy Posted May 30, 2017 Author Posted May 30, 2017 This was viewed Friday the 19th with a promise of payment in a week, woohoo its sold, Actually nope it's still here. Cavcraft 1

Arthur Foxhake Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 Sorry only just seen this, The vans finally gone and I managed to make a whole £50 profit on it.No problem. I'd forgotten I'd posted that anyway!
Wack Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 A guy I used to work with rang me up 6-7 months ago, he knew I used to do light haulage in a transit pickup You're not looking for a pickup are you No I've got a van now It's just they're getting rid of one at work What is it A 2011 dropside with a 15ft ingimex body 170,000 miles bit scruffy but drives OK and has £8000 worth of service history , not interested No sorry , how much did they want for it Boss says it's going to auction next week with a £1200 reserve but if anyone wants it they can have it for £1200 I'll have it So I sold my van and I'm back in the light haulage game, it's not missed a beat in 6-7 months , the only problem is anything I spend on it is calculated as a % of purchase price 2 tyres 20% of cost A fitted sheet 10% of cost The 4 back tyres are on 3mm so we're talking 40% there Cavcraft, Jim Bell and The Moog 3
Cavcraft Posted June 14, 2017 Posted June 14, 2017 /\Bloody hell, that was a right touch. I paid £750 for a 2005 SWB (van) with more rust that paint, but a full MOT.
garbaldy Posted June 15, 2017 Author Posted June 15, 2017 /\ how much, you could have had this one for that then I would have made £500 more ????
Wack Posted June 20, 2017 Posted June 20, 2017 It's been great, it doesn't like being in the wrong gear , makes a right racket from the drive train if you're in 5th when you should be in 4th ,and something is going thump thump from the back when you turn right, I've had my guy look at it but he can't see or feel anything obvious so it's going to be a case of drive it until it goes bang . the condition it's in I'd say it's worth 4k as the 13ft body ones are quite rare , it was a spit my tea out moment when he said £1200, I thought we were taking 4-5k djimbob 1
