Urgently need set of front brake calipers for Suzuki dl1000 Vstrom.

Any Nissin calipers should fit, even Triumph badged versions...but loads of Gsxr's out there to choose from

Stay away from 6 pot versions though

More trouble than they're worth

Going to have a go at fitting new seals, any advice on best way to do this please.

Pull the calipers apart before buying a seal kit

The piston housings may be too far gone to rebuild....

As Eddie says, red rubber grease for assembly.

I have a tin big enough to last several lifetimes, because I didn't to want to buy one of those small, unbranded pots off eBay, so if you need any drop me a PM and I'll send you some.

Millers do RRG.

Although last time I bought some it was Lucas in a metal toothpaste tube like this (now probably branded TRW in a crappy plastic tube like Firegum):

You can buy them separately, shouldn't be too expensive.

Corrosion causes the pins to expand making them hard or impossible to remove, might need to wire brush or sand them then knock out with a hammer and drift.

Its not the retainer pins its the ones that caliper slides on.

Get a full seal / bellows kit . Cut the bellows off and leave to soak in plusgas or similar . Then if that doesn't work then get some gentle warmth on the caliper body
