Eddie/Ratdat told me he's got a R16TS as it's was the first car he could remember having, my parents also had a R16TS in white called 'Fifi' so I went on a search for old pics to see if I could trace it - no luck so far but I did come across these (don't know if anyone is interested in them to be honest! )

I have found a load of slides with amazing tat in the back ground (again early/mid 80's), but I've had no joy scanning slides in as yet. :(

Quality. period pics are even better when you know the place and how it looks now. What's that red car in the second pic... HB Viva estate?

Looks like a Viva hb estate parked behind a Datsun 120y coupe/hatchback. 8)

When I used to stay with my Grandparents during my Eighties summer hols, Me and my Grandad would often go 'up town' have a look round the shops. He'd buy me an Airfix kit, we'd have a coffee, go visit all his ex-Caretaker colleauges in the basement of the College and then we would go to the Green Dragon, so he could have a lunchtime pint. Coke and crisps for me. Happy days :D:D In fact next time I go see him I'll make a point of taking him 'up town' for a pint in the Green Dragon.Nice pics.
