JohnK Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 Well the Saab's on my driveway and after the complete fuck on we've had today getting it shifted it definitely won't be going anywhere else, so I guess so lol. I've already pissed off the neighbours by blocking the full road off to unload and get it turned round and on the drive. It was a hell of a job so now I need to get everything I need off it and scrap the cunt before the council have a whinge I guess. But ... PROGRESS! KruJoe, Vince70, RobT and 1 other 4
Dick Cheeseburger Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Interesting project. Mk3 cavs can't get any cheaper than they are currently, either. As for moany neighbours, lob a cover over the Saab - looks like your pissed mate did a proper job of trashing it. JohnK 1
paulplom Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 The hood looks in good nick. You should get good money for it. Probably. Vince70 1
twosmoke300 Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Looks like a b207 to me - the b205 is still a saab engine with the turbo at the front
JohnK Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 You're dead right it is a B207 I found that out earlier when we were moving it
richbraith Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Could get Cav's as late as a P plate!The latest known registered Cav is 2000 on a W.
richbraith Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 I never thought when I sold John my Cav that this would happen to it... But the man is full of surprises. JohnK 1
JohnK Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 I've got to get it done yet mate! Hopefully it won't end up with both of these abandoned at the end of the drive richbraith 1
mat_the_cat Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 I suppose it's kind of related, but it's an excuse to show this picture! This was in a mate's 4x4 Cavalier a few years ago. That went rather well! Dick Cheeseburger, Mr Laurence and Lacquer Peel 3

mat_the_cat Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Yes, it started life as a Turbo but he had loads of engine problems. So he decided to swap the engine - didn't make it go any faster but it completely changed the character of the car. Sounded better to me too!
