Erm, Museum Shite Anyone?

Not really sure if this counts but I spent the day at the RAF museum. Of course the planes were the main attractions (pure aeronautical porn) but they did have a few cars tucked underneath

Jesus, talk about Deja Vu. I was looking through a big box of photos at my folk's house and saw some obscure photos of my uncle and auntie today.

The exact same location photos!!!

The 120Y is lovely. :)

Incidentally, this:

Live down the road from me. I thought it was a Lancia or Proton, but it's not. (It's a Toyota). I can remember the name is related to the design like 'Groove' or something.

Looks like some kind of Renault Megane/ Suzuki Swift Hybrid!

WiLL is a sort-of marque, they're all Toyotas underneath. The one with the weird Anglia-esque back is called a "VI" and the other one is a "VS", there's another called a "Cypha" which has strange headlights.

As a side note, are you allowed to display swastikas on planes these days? All of the German stuff I've seen in museums have the tailplane blanked.

I don't think you are allowed to sell swastikas (you won't find them on model kits, although having said that there are a few companies that will supply them as aftermarket decals.) I would presuming being historical museum pieces are exempt

There's apparently one of those WILL VS' over here, in Hull I think. A mate who doesnt know much about cars was telling me about this 'coolest looking car ever' that he wanted to know more about. He could only give me the 'WILL' bit and all my searches were bringing up the horrible Anglia back one - this was a few years back mind. Knowing what people you get around Hull, importing all sorts of stuff, theres probably a few 'WILL' models knocking about.

Really? Back in the days I built Airfix kits (1970s mostly) there was never any problem with swastikas on German aircraft. Are you saying that curent kits of German aircraft don't have swastikas on their decal sheets? I do know that in German museums, and privately operated restored aircraft in Germany, it's not permitted to display the swastika (talk about denying your history! ) But over here, and in The States, there are planty of restored 'planes displaying it.

None of the mainstream kit makers will include them today. I bought a set from Hannants online and use them as necessary
