Vectra question

I want to service the vectra next week however it appears a dedicated tool is needed to remove the oil filter on the 3.0 cdti - does anybody know if a chain filter will do the job?

 

I will be doing the fuel filter as well - are any special procedures required?

If your keeping the car, get the generic GM/SAAB tool as it saves a lot of hassle and doesn't come in most flute cap sets.
