Thought you might like to see my car history. Of course, they weren't all necessarily shite at the time but some may well be considered so now. So in chronological order... My first car

 

 

 

 

 

 

Followed by a 216 Vanden Plas with Vitesse alloys and spoilers...

 

 

 

 

 

And then a Sierra Sapphire 1.8 GLX. The Orion belonged to my friend...

 

 

 

Skipping forward a few years now to my 'toy' cars. An XJ-6 3.2 Sport.

What years where they owned?

The XR2 was my first car and I bought it in Sep 1990 and had it 'til it was stolen in Dec 1991. Found it the following day stripped to its shell. I was heart broken The Rover followed on after the insurance paid out and I kept that until Mar 1993 when I decided I wanted a Sierra. A couple of Cavaliers followed that. Then I went a bit mad and bought the Jag. My friends were all highly amused at the reg plate (OAP). I was only 30 at the time. Great car but not especially exciting to drive so changed it for the Spitfire in Aug 2003. That was great but always had that nagging feeling that it was a BL car after all and was bound to let me down at some point (although it never did) and changed that for my first MX-5. That was written off by some bird in Northampton and I now have an MX-5 Mk1 Merlot.
