Got this back home in a Wuvvum-esque fashion.

 

 

Another of something I've already got, formerly belongs to a chap I know, but he has to make way for new things so I'm having it for a bit. Ultimately will sell it though as I've got one already. Not quite as nice as mine, has bits of primer on it etc.

 

 

Boost gauge innit, it's got other mods too. All high quality stuff though, took sodding ages to import it from Japan as I helped with the bulk of it.

 

This is the "shite" cousin to the more famous Cuore TR-XX Avanzato R4, it's a Mira Classic Turbo 4WD. I say shite but these actually are a nicer drive in my opinion. Engine is a 3cyl DOHC 659cc unit with a turbo and intercooler, you get a 5-speed manual box and fulltime 4WD so no drifting action here.

 

Anyway just nice to drive one of these again I guess, need to get my original one back on the road really! They're such a cracking drive - hot hatch acceleration with super-twitchy handling, its ability to launch itself into corners is somewhat at odds at its ability to go around them safely. There's a knack to it though.

That's actually rather cute. I could see myself bombing around in that. I assume by your reference to a Wuvvum-esque fashion of getting it home that it's not T&T'd then?

By Wuvvum-esque, it was a train up and drive back kind of mission, still got tax on it though I need to run it in for test shortly. Can't see it failing on anything to be honest, bit of a cliche but I've known this car for something like 4 years now and it has been kept up to mechanically. We'll see though.MC: Dunno about price yet, I'll let you know when the time comes!
