Unlikely, but you never know: Lambretta wanted

Anyone got a cheap but useable (i.e MOT''d, running and British registered) Lambretta for sale? Italian or Indian, I'm not fussed. I have a Vespa T5 Classic and up to maybe £1,000 (top whack) to add.

Mega long shot there mate.

The only thing on wheels I've ever made a massive profit on was my old GP200.

There's still a few rough MOT'd ones about for a couple of grand, and the odd Indian GP200.

Did you run it on banana oil?

No, but this resto must have been ridden by Big Daddy.

I've seen that thanks, I did reply to him then got a private message from another member telling me to avoid Scomadis like the plague!

I had a Lambretta fold up on me like that when riding through Altrincham 20 odd years ago. The frame tube had rotted out around the stand cross member. Fortunately, the fracture enabled the remains to fit in the back of a mk1 Fiesta van, so I could get the pile of shite home! :)

They have a few there that seem really fairly priced, cheers. I wouldn't mind lobbing £1,700 quid on one even if it means registering it and trying to get it running. Nice one M, thanks.
