Renault 5 turbo shite

I have parked up a Renault 5 gt turbo for 14 years, on my mother's driveway. The sills are fucked. Bit of floor is rotten.

I'm only playing with cars but I love this one.

Anyone in the Wrexham Area ( that's where the car is) would like to take a look and possibly advise?

They love to rot. I would expect everything below the doors to be like a ryvita by now.

 

As a former R5 turbo owner myself I can confirm that the enjoyment of driving one hard is only rivalled by the sheer fucking misery of keeping one in good fettle.

 

You can have money or a GT turbo - not both.

Apart from main crank oil seal mine never gave any bother, and that was fixed cheap by some guys in Oswestry, who rallied them.

The floor doesn't actually look that bad, but the seats and carpet has sort of turned into dust.
