Cost me £110 for the six month's tax, and £15 for the 3 gallons of Heavy OIl I used driving it the 145 miles back from Suffolk to Damaged Towers.

Chuffed? You betcha! 8)

With thanks to Martin Waldron for his generosity (and the coffee!) and to Daddy Damaged for lending me his van for the last four weeks, and for his company today....

Lovely. Get on that with some 'hardcore farecla action', followed up with a hot hairdryer session on those bumpers.

Splendid, I defo agree get the polish on it. is the rear axle OK on it? My limited experience of these says, thats the only thing worth bothering to check, everything else is more or less everlasting.

Front and rear inner wings rot for fun, probably had a repipe in its llife with placky covered ones, but as a G reg wouldnt have reached these shores with them.Fun and uber cheap load luggingabiity.Well scored that man.EDIT - just for fun look under the rear and you can see where the extra inches were grafted on to the saloon floor pan.

What a great weapon, I wish I could find a cheap diesel BX like that.

Lovely. I would have had this myself if I'd not already got a shite estate. Previously owned by an enormous Citroen enthusiast. And a TGD? Bonus! Though to me, as a previous owner of one, I always thought 'turgid' when I saw that.

Looks GR8 to me - haven't seen one that early (even though G-reg would have been halfway through the facelift model's life) for ages!

Yep, it's got the world's loudest central locking, lecky windows all round, roll-up sunblinds built into the rear load cover...the works!

Gave it a quick going over with the bucket and sponge.....

Didn't they have those 'cubist' alloys? Get them on if they did.

I think Daddy Damaged's got a set of those in his stockpile, next time I'm over there I'll have a look. Failing that I've a set of 14" 205GTI Speedlines that might fit.
