Peterborough achieved and only 1 rather long train journey left.

Don't think much to the hookers around here..

For some weird reason I was issued 2 tickets for the same train, 1 to York and 1 to Newcastle but changing seats at York. Weird.

WilsonWilson put an MOT on Barmatt and sold him for less than he paid for him.

Blinded by the sight of two yellow Ingisseses, Barmatt is now in A&E.

He deffo made it at least half way. I left him at the rail station at about five so hes likely nearing home ish now. I bet he got all the traffic on the A1 heading south so he may be in a foul mood by the time he gets home.

You're right mate, i did get stuck in the traffic for a bit and then there was about 15 miles of roadworks to top it off.

Oh well once I got through that I started to have fun, the little Rover is ace it's a bloody rocket. It holds the road very well, feels firmly planted, acceleration is good, steering is tight and direct and the exhaust note is a scream when you get off the motorways and on to twisty Norfolk roads. I think this might be around for a while.

This roffle lark is mad, because no monies were exchanged I drove home with the feeling that I'd nicked it.

Obligatory pez shots hastily taken as i was getting weird looks from all sorts.

It is now tucked up outside Barmatt towers in front of the Bedford cf ( I couldn't park it next to the Rangie and have it looking down on it).

Glad you like it fella. Its a good little car and it deserves a bit of hooning after serving as a female 30mph traffic commuter for a year.

Quick update....

The Rover failed its mot the other day but thankfully only on one cv gaiter. I ordered a stretchy kit off ebay with 2 gaiters, clamps, grease and cone thingy for £7.99 inc delivery, replaced the duff one last night without too much of a fight apart from the bottom ball joint being a bastard to seperate, then popped round to the garge first thing this morning and hey presto...

Shiny new ticket :D
