Due to me getting a newer car off this forum unfortunately this one has to go!

Paintwork is shite lets get that out the way Lacquer peel supreme yes lol

 

Brought her off my mechanic (who owned her for 4 years) in the new year as my ZX rear beam had gone, she is covered in vinyls in a red camo effect some are peeling which i will try and replace before collection i have started on the spoiler though.

 

Shes not going to win any beauty awards but if you want a car that is mechanically sound then this is the car for you, Mileage is 220k however the engine is out of a different car on slightly lower mileage around 200k

 

Good Bits!!!

New rear beam fitted 12 months ago (less then 10,000 miles since fitted)

Headgasket, head skim, water pump and cambelt replaced last week

New front hubs and wheel bearings fitted last week

Fuel Pump was leaking so a resealed unit was fitted with injectors and lines last week

Just serviced and coolant change (red type) last week

Tons for paper work for parts and repairs 

and 12 Months MOT!! (2 advisories 1. exhaust mount crack which has been fixed 2. oil leak which was diesel which still hadn't dried from the old pump leaking) 

It's got as much Mi16 stuff on it as I could get. Arches, skirts. Bumpers, Leather seats, spoiler

Tinted rear windows

Wind Deflectors on all Windows

Comes on cyclone alloys with 20mm spacers, All tyres are Uniroyal Rain experts with A rated wet grip (i cant get them to lock at all) and they where fitted less then 2000 miles ago

Burns Veg Oil  

Fitted with the more Economical HDI gearbox revs around 2450 RPM at 70 MPH standard box is 2950 RPM at 70 MPH Clutch was changed at the same time 40,000 miles ago so plenty of life left

Front Seats are full Leather (with arm rest) as the half leathers are worn i still have them if you want them, i also have the full leather rear bench included with this raffle but havent fitted it yet as the full leathers are out of a estate 405 and the rears mount differently but will fit! 

Electric Sun Roof works

DAB Radio fitted  

 

Bad bits... The bodywork is poor, in Peugeot fashion the paint reacted with the lacquer, 20 years on most lacquer has gone. The stickers aren't too great either. The rear left door has a crease like in the photos. Windscreen has a crack outside of the mot rules.

 

Everything works as it should apart from Aircon which has a temporary switch on it so it does work (the pressure sensor is faulty and didn't want to lose a fresh re-gas). Sometimes one of the rear doors doesn't lock when its cold outside but starts working again if you do it manually the once.

 

It's a bloody fun drive, nice and tight and drives like it's on rails.
