Dent puller repair kit.. Anyone had an experience with them.

I just got my lovely old Z3 back from the paint shop the other day as I came out to drive the car I found about 10 finger nail size dents in the door so had the car door repainted and yesterday I went out to the car again and I now have the same thing on the passenger door plus a nice scratch which I've managed to polish out with a mop.

Obviously I can't afford to repaint doors every two weeks and wondered if anyone has had any experience with one of these dent pullers.

I tried a suction cup to no avail and I thought it must be worth a go and wonder if anyone has any experience of using one of these things to pull small dents out of panels.

It also doesn't help that being black the car shows up every mark.

Looks interesting but I haven't used that kind of thing. The dent sucker cup things are a load of old toss though.

That looks a great way to pull the laquer off of an aging BMW :)

Ha! Just noticed your thread; odd that I was considering something very similar.

I don't think the suction cups will work very well- I'm considering a kit with an alloy puller with cushioned 'feet'.

More to the point...how the hell are the dents appearing on your car?

That's what I want to know lol..

I think my passenger car door got damaged by foxes as my area is plagued with the things and every evening the things are pulling bins over etc and my garden is where the car is parked is always covered in crap and old food wrappers etc most mornings because of the them.

But my drivers door I think might of been done when it was parked up at the garage when it went in for a water leak and it looks like it's had a door opened onto it in a couple of places, I wouldn't mind as much but my daily driver which is an old smart car gets abandoned anywhere and never gets a mark on it but my pride and joy gets damaged and it's not been anywhere lol.

Sounds like something a PDR guy could sort out, though if we're talking about largish numbers of dents could be looking a a few hours work.

I've seen dent removal folk do amazing things. Very impressive stuff.
