Oh no, I'm back in 2001! I got gazumped on the flat directly behind that advertising board back in 2001. 15 Church Street, Stoke Newington, I'd got a new kitchen measured up and everything. Brings back bad memories of 4 months of waiting for estate agents and solicitors to get their acts together, only to get gazumped by another estate agent (inside job) the day before exchanging contracts. W4nkers. Downstairs is now The Dervish, delicious Turkish fare at very reasonable prices. mmmmmmmm does a really great meze platter. Apart from that its not changed one iota from that photo. Great for spotting still too. Good find!

Lovely few of Church Street. An even earlier view of N16:

 

 

I found this one looking up info about Harold Pinter when he died (I went to the same school as him, but many years afterwards ) Didn't realise that trolleybuses and BMC Farinas existed at the same time though

 

The seaside does look like Sidmouth. Nothing much has changed there; I wouldn't be surprised if some of those cars are still parked in the same places

I love those old 'chrome bumpered' Sherpas . Judging by it's condition in the photo, this one would make an excellent spotting if it were still around today...
