Truck Shite - Destination Doha

I know it's not car related but I know that fellow shiters don't mind a bit of truckshite now and then.

 

'Destination Doha' was a 1977 2 part film in the BBC's 'The World About Us' series. It tells the tale of a group of lorry drivers and the trek from London to Doha, the capital Qatar, as part of the regular (at the time) Middle East run, using a pair of Scania 1 Series and a Leyland Marathon. A hell of a journey and with the red tape and danger encountered on the way it's an interesting watch....

 

As you'd expect there is also a lot of Autoshite on the European motorways in 1977. This + Kraftwerk =
