Back on the vegan subject I’ve a younger brother who’s vegan and fits all of the above mentioned such as working weekends at the animal sanctuary etc and pushing the vegan agenda.

 

He did look a lot healthier when he was a carnivore now he looks like he Belsen victim these days and I’m public enemy no1 because I eat chocolate, fry ups and dairy except when it comes to repairing the car.

 

The worst thing is trying to find the Vegan car as I found when my brother decided he wanted me to find him a motor.

 

He was offered my lovely low mileage E36 for nothing but dead animal flesh was a no no and I got the lecture on sitting on murdered animals etc.

 

Apparently the nearest thing to a Vegan car is a electric mobility scooter called the Trizy but he wanted me to find him a mini and that was fun.

 

He had a grand to spend and wanted a low mileage immaculate example and even the most base examples had a leather steering wheel as only the earliest base spec got a plastic wheel and I managed to find some real nice cars but also the colour was wrong so I was pulling my hair out (if I had any)

 

In the end he settled for a nice 04 reg mini one and I looked over it picked up and it had a leather steering wheel and just kept quiet and he must be using the steering wheel as he hasn’t crashed yet so maybe his Christmas present will be Vegan gloves lol.

 

To add insult to injury we found a lovely yellow mini for the other half’s daughter for the same price and that had the plastic wheel, So I did send a cheeky pic of the wheel but he didn’t want a yellow car as he wanted a blood red car but luckily he hasn’t asked me to change it over yet lol.
