Can anyone near Alfreton help with an MOT please?

Fatha Sporty has unleashed his bidding finger and won a 205 which is in Alfreton. Problem is, we've now found out it isn't tested. This isn't the end of the world, but is a slight ballache. Seeing as we probably wouldn't do the work to get it tested, I was thinking that if the car seems decent, we could get it tested over there, then drive it back legally.

 

So, here's the request. Can anyone recommend a decent tester in the vicinity and would they, if necessary, be able to help with getting it there or dealing with them.

 

Just throwing ideas around at the moment, so anything helpful is good.

Im in Ripley near alfreton. I can highly recommend stuart at fast track in clay cross. Any more assistance needed ill help out

Why can't you book an MOT in Wigan and drive it there/home/to your local garage?, its not illegal to drive to a pre-booked mot, It doesn't say how far the pre-booked test has to be, furthest I've done is Folkestone to Kendal when I brought my van back from Spain
