Not as TRagic as it could've been

Saw this listed in the auction Saturday and imagined it would be a proper horror (most of the cars are bailiff seizures or of a similar ilk).  Not my cup of Assam but It looked very good for its age.  Unfortunately my services were required elsewhere so I missed what it went for.

It is your duty to find out what it went for, please !

I've just noticed it is on chrome wire wheels, never seen one wearing these before, were they bolt-on?

I asked about the price but the office that I was in, to make a payment, only had the general auction results, sorry.

I was in a rush and was planning to go back and get a better photos.  I didn't study the wheels but they looked after market so I would guess not knock ons, again sorry

They look like bolt-on as there's no depth to the wheel centres.

(also BU makes that an Oldham/Tameside car originally - not that common a reg. My aunt's Mk2 Fez was the last car I saw that code on a few years ago).
