Bit of a boring collection thread; jumped in truck drove from Riseley (Reading) to Eastcote, 35 miles, loaded freebie Rover 100 on to truck, sercured and returned.

 

 

I did previously own this for a couple of months, eight years ago, then sold on to a family friend who has now replaced it.

I don't know yet, need to have a proper look at it.  Due to poor communication I was under the impression it was a non running, MOT failure so I thought it would be a breaker.

Seems to run fine, the 'non runner' bit was a rattle which sounds like a heat-shield.

 

The chap that looks after it for them suggested that they replace it but for no specific reason.
