Shame Coventrys closing this year. Been to some great meetings there over the years.

 

Brisca f1s have never been my cup of tea. But there's something about 40 race tuned v8 engines starting at the same time. You can actually feel the rumbling in your chest

First race was busy but a bit tame. Drivers cleaning the track with big understeer for some.

So Conelrad, Junkman and I meet up for an entertaining evening of watching slidey sideways situations.

Flat tyre on 1st lap of his qualifier, quick in the consolation race. Not sure in the Final, too many cars going round and round.

 

We were mainly following Nigel Green as Junkman knows him.

No worries. I use to work with frankie wainmans main mechanic. Richard Thornton. He Was plastering contractor on a site I was on.

 

When he turned up on the job he was more interested in talking to me about racing than sorting out snagging for site agent. Ha
