Bollocks! Just got in from GSFxafter spending £80 on front discs,pads and sensor for my Merc.

I only had a'25% code.

Why can't they just sell everything for the right price without all this *discount code shit? This morning I drove past Euro's and GSF to go home to get online and find the best price, then go back and buy the stuff.

 

Oh well, I'd better go and fit them now.

Tempted by your details of the offer I went onto their website to see if I could get new bonnet supports. I have to treat being under the open bonnet as a high risk area at the moment. I was very pleased with the struts I got from them for the tailgate on my Volvo estate a while back.

I put in the reg no of the XM and it recognised the car but there is no window for bonnet related parts/body fittings/anything likely so I did a search on "bonnet" and it came up with some bonnet/tailgate struts without indicating what end of the car they are for or which models. 

Last time I assumed I was buying the right part (a dipstick) it turned out to be about two inches too long so I am not going to buy and hope.

Has anyone been through this particular game before?

I got a rocker cover gasket,rotor arm , dizzy cap and a wiper blade for the scirocco for £13. Might bag some oil and coolant tomorrow. They do very limited stuff for the older models now which is a shame  as they used to be ace
