The first dusters that came into the UK came from the factory in India, as the Romanian one wasn't setup and ready to make RHD versions. That'd be fine, except the India factory didn't rust proof/paint/etc them properly. These vehicles were actually showing rust on the panels in the owners first month of ownership.

 

The UK Dacia enthusiasts forum coined the phrase, Rusty Duster.

Was in a Dacia Duster in Turkey that was fairly new last year - was worn out like a 1980's Hyundai...with the plastics to match

 

Had more rattles and squeeks than any car I've ever sat in - was not impressed at all...

But cars do that in Turkey

as soon as they leave the showroom. Purely in protest of the way they get driven.
