Skoda Fabia TDI

Probably not of much interest on here but worth a try eh?

As mentioned elsewhere we have just bought a new car for my wife so her old one is for sale.

We've had it for 2 years and 12k miles and has caused us little to no trouble.

It's a 2003/53 reg Skoda Fabia 1.9 TDI.

Luxurious Comfort spec which gives you front electric windows, also has air con.

PD lump so soz no veg. Does do about 50 to the gallon though.

12 months MOT, cambelt and water pump done about 2k ago by my own fair hand. I may have lost the invoice for the parts but I deffo did it. Also recent front discs and pads and probably other stuff I've forgotten.

Generally good nick except scrape on n/s rear arch.

Price? We'd like £1000 for it but open to offers.

Location: Huddersfield nearish J24 M62.

Can you put prozac in the fuel tank?  I mean that car looks so miserable, is it cos the passenger seat has a broken arm?

GLWTS etc

The passenger seat is in fine health, the thing in the picture is a sling (baby carrying device) which I'm afraid isn't included.

I'm not trying to pretend the car is in anyway interesting or exciting but you never know, someone may need a small thing for a wife or child or whatever.

So it turns out £1k ono was too optimistic.

This is now advertised elsewhere at £750, happy to talk offers to proper people.

Ta.

Don't forget the chilled glovebox! I had a Fabia SDI, it was alright - I bet the TDI goes well.

Chilled glovebox is a big selling point I forgot to list.

To be honest the air con never got used as my wife prefers the heaters set to "magma" all year round.

Anyway, now sold to a man from Autotrader.

He came round with his "mate who knows about cars" who was desperate to find something to chip me down on, said that as the clutch hadn't been changed recently they would want to change it as a precaution. What a tool.
