Ford wanky door locks

Not sure if this will help you but i was having problems with the locks on my 406. They would keep rotating but not 'catch'. Tried wd40 but that didn't work so I bought some graphite powder off amazon. I used it on the front doors and boot lock which were all doing the rotating thing. It's fixed them all at least since I used it 3 weeks ago. I don't have any problems with them now.

I had a right faff yesterday when the end of the WD40 straw got caught in the Transit's ignition lock. I was lucky to get the end out.

My only key is worn and I bought a new one from Ford but apparently I need two old keys before I can programme the new one. The remote works, but the case of it is broken so I never use it. Do I just have to roll over and pay Ford or can independents programme keys and supply remotes etc?
