Converting to manual? Why bother? There's loads of manuals around in decent nick and the process of doing it is a real PITA as I looked into doing it to a really immaculate one a couple of years ago - not worth it. 

 

This one looks nice esp in BRG, 110K miles is nothing (mechanically you can't kill them with a stick in general), if the body is sound and straight there shouldn't be too much to worry about.
