WANT!

I think there will be a bidding war when you come to dispose of it.

Well bought Billy! That looks brilliant.

Neighbour of mine had one - L-reg Style N/A Dizzler, had it absolutely years but then he passed away and the car was taken for scrap.

Taxed this yesterday and had two days of going to work in it. Smoked a Honda S2000 off at the lights and by the time he twigged what was happening, I'd had him right off.

It's really quick for such a big car, some old memories came flooding back due to the wind noise these seem to suffer from, and the fog lights witch has a mind of it's own. Lobbed 20 litres of veg in yesterday, no adverse reactions so far so fingers crossed.

Peugeot dealer approved* fix - wind down window, close door on to a lump of wood, gently bend top of the door inward, remove wood, close window.

charge punter £50 ph to bend his nearly new pug in the name of "adjustment".

I've now done more miles in this than in my new Viva that I got in November. It's a bit clonky over bumps and doesn't like too much veg, but it's so nice to drive and doesn't half go. It's currently mostly my daily car with the odd tip run and myriad bike collections thrown in for good measure.

Actually thought someone had pinched the wheel centres the other day, then found the pictures from when I got it and they weren't there anyway.

So, an update: 800 odd miles on holiday in this last week, was great. Coughed and farted a couple of times because I 'over-veged it' so just topped up with diesel and it was great. Was the perfect holiday car really, loads of room, loads of poke and the air-con made a massive difference.

However...on the way home, and not to far from reaching base, the airbag light came on and the temp gauge threw it's hand in. Internet research says common and linked problem (temp sensor or something) which makes the engine fan come on all the time too. I CBA looking so just carried on and it hadn't effected the way the car runs. Then the exhaust went from a gentle noise to a loud roar, the centre pipe (£33 with the vodka and tonic I think) has torn itself a nice* big new outlet.

I had a twiddle round with it yesterday, just sort of poked round at the wiring blocks in places to see if it made any odds, but obvs it didn't. It's now in the naughty corner at Datestamp, making a useful GDB. Will it get fixed sometime soon?

Internet search said fuse no.2 did temp gauge and fan. Or possibly temp gauge and airbag light, I forgot to check. Anyhow it was blown and the temp gauge works again, so just need to see if airbag light goes out now then sort the coolant temp switch, or whatever it is.

I can live with engine fan staying on for a couple of weeks or whatever, but the exhaust is proper noisy.
