posting pictures help needed please

Grrr! How do I do this. I browse on my android phone. I can post a link from imgur or flickr but I can't make it show as a picture, how do I do it please.

So, I've gone to the more reply options bit, then I find the picture I want on flickr, then copy the URL, then paste it here.

And it just gives a link, no picture.

You need to url of the picture not the page, it has to end on .jpg

 

Then wrap tags around it

So how do I find that? And do you mean when I've found it I have to put the squared off brackets at each end? Thanks for your help.

Ifs a bloody pain in the nards to do. I use the tapatalk and imgur apps.

 

1. Upload photo to imgur app

2. Go to the image in the imgur app and click share

3. Choose "copy to clipboard" (you may need to install an app to get this option)

4. Open the post I want to reply to in tapatalk

5. Type \[img\]

6. Paste in the url that looks like this http://imgur.com/3oPaim9

7. Put i. At the beginning before "imgur".

8. Argue with Swype keyboard about what I wanted to type just then

9. Put .jpg at the end.

10. Argue with Swype about what I wanted to type

11. Put \[/img\] at the end

12. Take out all the spaces that Swype helpfully added

13. Click submit.

 

If anyone knows an easier way to post an imgur image using Android I'm all ears.

It's fucking shit, I give up, there must be an easier way. I've got the flickr app, the fucking imgur app and I'm using Tapatalk, can't somebody get there fucking act together and make it a three or four action process to post pictures from a mobile, something presumably most of us would like to be able to do?

That link says 'iimgur' not 'imgur' - are you sure you're uploading to the right spot??

I go to the picture, I press and hold on the picture, it gives me an option to copy, I copy it, then paste that link into the reply.

 

It had an extra 'i' before the imgur because that's what wbtc said to do.

Ok Imjur right click on image,select "copy image location"

 

On here click on image icon,paste link in box,click OK.

Thats it.

What do you mean by posting location into image icon box on taskbar?

A recent thing is that I get a rejection notice when posting some images (that used to work) in the image link box - saying that the extension is not allowed on this website - all are just standard .jpg or .png.

 

 

But it will accept the code directly into the text box. Sometimes.

 

This from imgur (haven't looked in there in ages) but the same happens with Flickr!, Potatoebucket and ImageShack.
