WANTED: High-and-dry Coopz!

I have a friend, who in turn has a friend who races Hyundai coupes, however, there's a teensy little SNAFU with this years plan...

 

He hasn't got any.

 

This is where I call on the Autoshite collective for your help!

 

Please, please, please if anyone sees a sub- £500 Gen 1 or 2 2.0 SE or FX (Not F2 or 1.6) that are solid, MOT isn't a concern if its not structural (mechanical issues are okay brakes, suspensions etc, it needs to be as solid as possible)

 

Ideally within a 100 mile radius of Milton Keynes, but they will travel for the right car!

 

So, if anyone sees one on their local Faceballs selling group or even the old school method of an advert in a car/post office window, please let me know, and let's help these unappreciated motors turn a wheel in fury once more!

 

Oh, and he needs five of them.

He's got roll bars and fancy bits from last year, but no cars to bolt them to, they need to be ready for April!

Will keep my eyes skinned. Take it the one which looks vaguely like a 456 is no good?

£350, Liverpool. No MOT but history suggests it's clean, maybe too clean, also low miles. Trim level is apparently 'special equipment' (is that SE?).
