And so are my parents. In fact, this is on the way to my Dad's. However I'm 120 miles away in Portsmouth. And wouldn't know what to look for (though I have a serious MX5 botherer in my office who I could ask.).

Very kind of you but I require an automatic as I am a gimmer/cripple and can not guarantee left leg will work on any given day!  Makes nifty clutch work doubtful.....
