Hydropneumatic Citroëns of the past were very softly sprung, Xantias less so, but they still waft much better than most non-luxury cars.

You notice the difference when you go back to steel springs. This car would be better than a normal Xantia as it has Hydractive suspension with three spheres on each end.It wafts along on the three spheres when driving in a straight line line but if the sensors in the system detect hard cornering it cuts out the middle sphere to stiffen response.Although it sounds dicey it is actually pretty reliable.
