Looking for advice (clean please :-D ) on how to clean the vellllooooor interior of my Vauxhall as shown below. Vax, interior cleaner-I'm not sure!

If you've got a Vax, use it.  Probably the best thing I've seen applied to cloth seats and minimal hassle.  For best results, remove the seats and carpets to clean them out of the car and let them dry somewhere before you put it all back in.  Seats can take a while.  Stardrops and a plastic nailbrush (cheap budget toothbrush for the fiddly bits) are best for the vinyl with an application of Autoglym Vinyl and Rubber Care afterwards.

Wilkinsons do AAA Vax fluid for cheap and is suitable for this application so far as I'm aware.

Not having the luxury of a Vax I have always used a bowl of warm water with upholstery shampoo and a scrubbing brush to work up a good foam. Then vacuum cleaner when dryish.

The colour of the water in the bowl when poured away is usually a satisfying shade of mud.

Autoglym interior shampoo is really good.

I find the Autoglym interior shampoo fine for a car that hasn't had the seats cleaned for a year or three, but any more than that and/or particularly heavy soiling and it's next to useless even though it smells quite nice.

For deep ingrained dirt take the seats out and hose them down! Autoglym has worked for me, but I've tended to look after the interiors and clean them regularly. I found it did remove a green wax stain out of pale grey carpet in my last cx's parcel shelf though( no, I don't know how it got there either). It's also rather good at getting red wine out of beige carpets( in the lounge, not the car).

I've not needed it in the car yet, but I now have moog's vax scrubber which has been good on the stair carpet.

I have a wet vac,and i scrub with finish 1001 carpet cleaner. Never fails, and fast too

Bear in mind if you wet that interior it won't dry until april.

Using water on a car's interior in November is probably not a good idea.

Why not look at waterless options?

Thanks for the replies.

As mentioned-I think I'll leave it until one day in August!

Thanks

Don't clean it, FFS.  Shoot porno movies in it.  That's the only decent thing to do.
