Near miss ( worst crash witnessed or been in)

Thankfully I haven't been in any big accidents. Did get the front hit on my mk1 Fiesta.

 

Was coming out of a yard on to Union Street, Wakefield which is busses, taxis and access only. Edging out in front of a bus sitting in traffic at a red light, me turning right. Bus drives waves me out and I get hit on the drivers front by a lad in a new mk2 clio who thought he could just go round them all.

 

I think my car was saved by an explosion of filler as he lost his radiator. Took the insurance over a year to decide it was his fault

I've not had any serious car accidents,just a few minor panel damaging bumps

I was 1st on the scene to a local who had left the road and hit a tree whilst pissed up.

Gone around a bend too fast,his Escort had gone into a slapper, the n/s sill dug into the grass verge and flipped the car over

He managed a full roll before the roof hit a big f* off tree.

The car hit the tree just behind the sunroof,squashing the roof down into the rear seat area.

Matey was trapped between the steering wheel and his seat by the now smashed open sunroof.

The sunroof was up against them back of his seat and he was sat there,with his head and shoulders above what was left of the roof line

As I approached the car he was clearly in a bad way with blood Everywhere with a good 8" gash on his skull.

2nd car to pull up had an off duty nurse on his way home in it,and I can say that this guy definitely saved the drivers life

I called the emergency services whilst the nurse had a quick look around,then I spent the next 20 mins sat on the roof of this escort,doing my best to hold the drivers head as still as possible whilst the nurse did his best to slow the bloodloss from the guys head

Once the fire and ambulance turned up i watched as they took the remains of the roof off in 2pcs

Apart from his head injury and a very bruised back,he was lucky not to have anything more serious
