The show is too big to take it all in, in a single day.

It's too big to take it all in in three days if you want to actually engage with the cars/owners etc...

Indeed. Even though I dashed around on Sunday morning before the doors opened, there are still cars I missed after three days there.

I went with a Friends of Mine ( one is on here ) ,

Was lots of good chod  , loved the hedge Cortina  ,Fiat 900, Applejack Aggro , and Rover 220 turbo

Favorite stand ..Rover 200/400 club .

Was smaller then last years ,less bikes  .

I also watched an unvaleing of a Volvo p1800 being filmed for car SOS  .

Saw Dollly wobbler buisy citroening and has a chat with Captain Slow.

Feel the £12 parking is a con (events city is free)

Will go next year ,Hopefully on Train 

Not bad event  , not as good as Tatton Park ,but nothing is .

And no, I didn't engage with the owners. I went on Sunday, and to be honest most of the owners looked like they'd had enough and were just slumped in their deckchairs so I took pity on them instead of asking them the same questions they'd been asked a hundred times. I still missed things though.

 

Dollywobbles and Teh_Lobster should feel pretty special that I spoke to them, or something.

I always think Autoshambles would make a suitable family-friendly pseudonym for us.  I'd be up for helping organise a stand as I'm fairly local, although I have no experience of such things.

 

I was thinking maybe Society for Historically Interesting Transport and Ephemera?
