Spanish hire car 2016 See page 2..

Following on from my £50 hire car last year I thought I would start a 2016 competition for this year..... this year I have booked 8 days hire for an amazing £42 ...... from an un-named company at Alicante airport.... The blurb says VW Polo or similar..... so what will I get this year?? A Spanish donkey or equivalent will be posted to the winner on my return unless you do not guess correctly or I actually get a Polo... let the games begin...

I've never ever got what was specified! It's a lottery! Last few times in spain it was a kangoo people carrier thing and a clio.

 

The very first time I hired a car I was in my early 20's. Tenerife..... las americas! 1993!! The Vauxhall corsa b had just been launched. I detested them at the time (how times have changed! The then modern day bubble shape looks have become very dated, and corsa 'b' are now a very rare sight). Sunny cars was the car hire firm. Sales guy told me I was getting a new corsa. I nearly cried!! Driver pulled round the front in a brand spanking new white corsa 'a' (nova) 1.2 spi. I was simply over the moon (I'd owned a couple by that stage and loved them). Made my holiday that did! Met a bloke from Donegal. We ditched our girlfriends and went hooning around most night!

Just hope you get upgraded. My guess is a base model Dacia.

Whatever the Seat version of the Citigo/Up is- with no hubcaps obvs. It'll have a/c but won't go up hills if you turn it on.
